Oryx GTL Supports Qatar Red Crescent

Doha, 24 September 2008- Oryx GTL has pledged today a donation to Qatar Red Crescent. The grant is to finance the campaign Gates of Goodness in Ramadan 1429 Hegria along with other charity projects including Child Cardiac Operations and Eye operations.

Mr. Abdulhadi Baqan Oryx GTL Public Relations Manager presented a cheque from Oryx GTL to Mr. Moustafa Ahmed Mohamed Nour, Administration Affairs Manager, in presence of representatives of the Qatari Girls Committee in Oryx GTL and the Manager of Fund Raising Dept., the Head of Public Relations Office, and the Head of Research Section Resources & Fin. Development Dept. in the Red Crescent.

Oryx GTL grant is among other donations made by the company in support of Qatari civil society organizations. It represents Oryx GTL social responsibility and commitment towards organizations that improve opportunities for people who live in the State of Qatar said Mr. Abdulhadi.

By his turn, Mr. Moustafa thanked Oryx GTL for its support to the Red Crescent and appreciated the good intiation.
