Oryx GTL Supports Qatar Sailing & Rowing Federation

Oryx GTL has pledged a donation to Qatar Sailing and Rowing Federation. The grant is to finance the IODA Asian Championship 08 in Qatar from 24th to November 1st 2008.

Mr. Majed Al-Noaimi, Oryx GTL Administration Manager, presented a cheque from Oryx GTL to Mr. Adel Sherida Al-Mutlaq who represented Mr. Khalifa Mohammed Al-Sewaidi the President of Qatar Sailing and Rowing Federation in presence of Mr. Abdulhadi Baqan Oryx GTL Public Relations Manager.

Oryx GTL grant is among other donations made by the company in support of the Governments vision to position Qatar as the sporting capital of the region. Also, it represents Oryx GTL social responsibility and commitment towards the community.

By his turn, Mr. Adel Al-Mutlaq expressed his thanks on behalf of the Sailing and Rowing Federation and appreciated Oryx GTL good intiation.
